A Mesmerizing View Positive: The view is outstanding! The snacks and drinks were very thoughtful. The blankets were very warm. Our tipi was away from others, which was nice. The host family was very attentive to our needs. The location exceeded our expectations. We had a drive in on route 20 through the wind river reservation which was incredible. We did go to the hot springs to swim, kids enjoyed the slides. Next door is the bathhouse, which is free for all and very nice and more updated than Hellie's teepee and Spa. we enjoyed our trip to the Legend Petroglyph Rocks. We explored Hot Springs which was very cool to see. There's a dinosaur museum which people said is very worth the trip, we didn't have time. Breakfast at the Black Bear Cafe was yummy. They do a campfire at night so come prepared with some s'mores and hot dogs. They have forks for the fire and a fully equipped grill for cooking as well. Truly a wonderful experience. Negative: Well, we're used to port a johns, so that's not a big deal. But they were pretty full. Also, the main bed is pretty high up, we had to crawl in, lol.

I would stay again but not with a clean freak in the family! Positive: great view! very atmospheric. beds super comfortable with heated blankets! Negative: dirty and damp floors made it hard to totally feel at home. pet hair on blankets and floor.

Though a little cold at night, it was such a unique and memorable experience we would do it again! Positive: It was a unique memorable experience. We loved the beautiful scenic overlook. The beds were comfortable. Glad to have the heated blankets this time of year. Complimentary snacks were nice to have. The stringed lights made it really fun :) Negative: Hosts' dogs barking.. though it was always quiet from 9pm on. Our girls didn't like the long walk to the bathroom. We stayed in tipi 7 the furthest from them, but I loved the location of our tipi.

Our family had a wonderful time and are very much looking forward to our next visit. Positive: The owners are exceptional hosts. The views are breath taking. The beds are comfortable and we were always warm. This is an experience that our family will remember always. The glow of the tipi's at night is sure something to see. We stayed four nights in #7.
